This presentation centers on “At the same time, the gallery will once again present glass works by the young Japanese artist Chika KATO. Her creations, through the hard yet fragile qualities of glass, reflect the core spirit of mono no aware aesthetics — in the flow of time, material existence always walks beside disappearance. These transparent works balance elegance and danger, presence and absence, revealing a unique beauty that life cannot fully grasp.

Gallery de Sol is fascinated by the depth and brilliance of merging and reinventing tradition and the contemporary. This participation will be not only a public exhibition but also a questioning and rewriting of art history embedded within the festivities of the art market. In Taichung, a city where cultural energy converges, Gallery de Sol invites visitors to witness how “Print-Based Art” departs from craft and moves toward a free and profound contemporary expression.
