On the afternoon of Saturday, October 11, artist YANG Chung-Ming, whose solo exhibition “1111 project: The Lost Shoreline” is currently on view, will be present to share insights into his creative journey. He will introduce his newly unveiled work The Lost Shoreline and reflect on the inspirations and revelations that have shaped his practice.

From printmaking to watermark handmade paper, from poetry and literature to Taiwan’s native flora and fauna, and even fleeting yet precious personal memories, YANG’s works embody a consistent gentleness on the surface—rich with detail—while beneath lie deeply resonant emotions carefully orchestrated by the artist. To truly discover the sources of his creative spark and nourishment, one must be there in person to hear it directly from him.

The gallery’s newest annual initiative, the “1111 project,” will continue to invite different artists to present extraordinary works that bring fresh perspectives and possibilities to the space. The series opens with The Lost Shoreline by YANG Chung-Ming, a leading figure in Taiwan’s printmaking art. Following this, the second exhibition will feature artist HSU Pei-Cheng, who combines oil painting with copper foil, patterned textiles, and other diverse materials in his latest body of work.

We warmly look forward to welcoming you on October 11. Join us for a serene autumn afternoon, and let the tides of art gently wash over you.
